Webcast Appearance after care treatment

The test of the appearance after a care treatment looks at the resistance of a textile after one or more wash treatments.

All textiles that are intended to be washed with a standard domestic wash treatment should be tested.

For ready-made test samples, the laboratory should be provided with two identical samples. One of the samples is used as the reference sample in an as-new condition so that changes to the washed test sample are easier to identify.

The wash treatment for the test of the appearance after the care treatment is carried out under standard domestic conditions.

The test device is a standard, commercially available domestic washing machine.
